"Elektronika 2-14" Soviet table LCD melody alarm clock

     Elektronika 2-14 (Электроника 2-14) table digital alarm clock with a melody was produced in USSR during 1980's. It has 6-digit 7-segment LCD display. It runs in 12-hour mode. The alarm sound is a melody instead of just a beeping. It runs on 3x AA battery (1.5V). The original price was 35 Rubles (in 1985).

     My only piece of this type from 1985 is not working. The display seems to be damaged. I can only play the melody (see the video below).
