1)To Doktor:
Let have rectifier input VOLTAGE -50 to +50=Vpp 100 V.
At 10% duty we shall use a load adapted to I(in peak) =50A. t=10%*10 us. Energy =U*I*t=50*0,1*10E-6*50=2,5 mJ/halfpulse.
Output at 10% duty 50A*(50V*0,1)*10us=2,5 mJ.
That is what I tried to tell You.

2)Sorry to see some people dont see any difference between atomic physics and nuclear physics, that is typical journalist illness. Plutonium is too weak substitute for transistor cooling gel :)

Dr. Doktor:
Why do you mix energy here? We are talking about average currents. Diodes are not selected based on energy, but based on average current.

Because few mails ago I wondered how energy conservation may work between input and output, if both currents are (p-p) equal but (rms) are hardly unequal.

However I begin to rethink what means half-wave input (what have here place) for driving igbt~s. Upper half-wave give full power, however bottom igbt works on just non-loaded inductivity reverting to start position. Cant it be the large current difference between them, and duplication of transported power if to use a full wave rectifier?? Existing is full wave by exit and half-wave by input.

Ouch, just I realize, its not an igbt half-bridge but half-wave straight drag igbt. And therefore half-bridge rectifier is only choice.
No no no, inspite of many nice things in Danyk circuit, I am intended to make a half-bridge with full wave exit and nothing else. Happily, that is not big thing to reorganize this on my radiator yet, and my transformer has easy to make a proper middle-wire both sides
Thus, my previous question is completely cancelled..

Ufff, damn, the PWM must be changed too, to as an example UC1526. But PWM PCB I have already soldered - thus it is too much job to redo all. Probably let it stay as it is. Shall use Danyk`s version.
That was indeed a mistake to not read through a PWM tablet datasheet before to switch soldering hammer..on

Yeppp, but if that is halfwave trafo, then exit to rectifier is sure unipolar, and I am back where I started - the first modelling result is correct and second mistakeful. Then again the upper diode has large current and bottom low, - straight opposite as in the case of bipolar signal.
Echhh, seems easier will be to measure the temperature of alive diodes and not to mud~stirr of phylosophy about how it works.
