90 Amp car Alternator (Skoda Felicia 1.3 MPi)
(Reverse Engineered Schematics)
90A Alternator (Skoda Felicia 1.3 MPi) - Schematic Diagram of internal wiring and connection of controller and charging indicator (may contain errors).
The charging indicator is between B+ and D+ and is lit when the voltage of these two terminals differs.
The charging indicator is a classic tungsten lamp (approx. 12V 1W) and therefore indicates voltage difference in both polarities.
The winding on the rotor shows a resistance of about 2.8 ohms.
The stator winding is connected in star. There are plus diodes 3x 1N3660 and 1x 1N3494 (cathode on the housing).
Minus diodes are 3x 1N3660R and 1x 1N3494R (anode on the housing). The 3 small diodes that power up the regulator and rotor are 3x what looks like 1N5408.
90A Alternator (Skoda Felicia 1,3 MPi). Made about in 1999 or 2000.
